A mica treatment enterprize was founded in 1932. Till 1937 the factory had been producing ony one type of producton - pluck mica of manual processing and in 1937 the output of the capacitor, cutting and bar mica was started.

In 1955 the manufacturing of the small sized pluck mica was made by mechanical manner and in 1964 the factory started producing a new type of production - micalex (Micaceramics) ussing like a high frequencies insulation material. Since 1969 Nizhneudinsk Mica Factory has been using the technology of the integrated mica production on the basis of mica phlogopite.

After the economic crisis of 1998, August, 17 a total ttal growth of manufacturing has been marked in Russia and NMF made a step in new phase of its development. The owners of the enterprize reconstructed the manufacturing and re-registered the property forms. Today NMF hold on stable position in industrial economy of the. The enterprizes year turn-over exceeds S 2.000.000. Expanding our partners relations we are ready to increase our production volumes.

In 2001 we started quarrying of mica phlogopite in Sludianka-mines. Now we are quarry raw material for the mica seam paper and also fr the milling production which is used both for our own needs and mica procesing enterprizes.
